Shining Lights Youth Theatre is a performance-based theatre company resident at New Greenham Arts and supported by The Corn Exchange, Newbury.

Created in 1998 by Peter Watt and Colin Godfrey, Shining Lights was formed to develop the skills in performing arts for the young people in the Berkshire area, outside of the school environment.

Our aim is to create an environment where young people feel comfortable and learn through positive experiences, constantly pushing the boundaries of youth theatre and always aiming to cover new and interesting ground.

Shining Lights is a self-funding voluntary organisation and is dependent on a small dedicated team of individuals and ex-members who have a passion for the arts.

The company is currently run by Peter Watt (Artisitc Director) and Melanie Rosier-Watt (Company Manager)
